 TECHNICAL DOWNLOADS application guide

DO WIPE D'Gel® to the cable using a saturated cloth, towel or brush. Wipe from the cable jacket towards the conductor. Fold or rotate the towel to expose a clean surface area before each successive wipe. Finally, allow the D'Gel® solvent to evaporate (air dry) or wipe dry with a lint free cloth.

Cleaning the exposed cable by soaking may be desirable. Pour D'Gel® into a secondary metal or chemical resistant plastic container. Submerge area of cable to be cleaned. Remove cable from container and air dry or wipe off any remaining residue. Then dry with lint-free cloth. Repeat process with clean D'Gel® fro each cable being cleaned. Dispose of used D'Gel® according to local, state, and federal guidelines.
